Dan has been working in the financial industry since 2012 and is the Founder and President of Freedom Trail Wealth at Dove Mountain. He offers a full-service financial planning practice that specializes in working with pre- and post-retirees on retirement income planning strategies, legacy planning, and fully comprehensive long-term financial plans to help clients achieve their short, intermediate, and long-term financial goals.

Dan’s goal is to help create and preserve wealth for individuals and families, providing them with a lifetime strategy to gain financial control of their lives and to reach their full potential. His core value, guiding him both professionally and personally, is to be upfront and honest while acting as a fiduciary by always putting his clients' interests before anything else – a philosophy that can be seen in all his client interactions. He customizes strategies designed to fit each individual’s needs which allows them to make informed decisions. He coaches his clients to help increase their financial security and net worth, while positioning them to be able to leave behind a legacy. Dan holds the Series 7 & 66 securities registrations and is insurance licensed in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, and Georgia.

 

Before starting his own firm, Dan began his financial career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Previously, Dan had worked in the sports industry for over 15 years. He served in various capacities including Vice President of Sales, Sales Manager, General Manager and Account Executive for organizations such as the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets and Orlando Magic, MLB’s Washington Nationals & Milwaukee Brewers, and the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers & Hartford Whalers as well as the Durham Americans of the Coastal Plain League.

 

When not helping clients, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Annette and three children, Aubrey, Dalanna, and Brody. He also stays busy being active in his community and volunteers with several non-profit organizations that support autism awareness, education and research in Southern Arizona. Dan is a graduate of the University of Hartford in Connecticut. A Boston native, he is forever faithful to his beloved New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox , and Boston Celtics while supporting his adopted pro teams here in Arizona.
